How is the University of Washington?

How much should I pay approximately for taxi from Auburn to University of Washington?

  • Hello, I'm planning to go to University of Washington from Auburn by Taxi and I haven't called the taxi to ask for the price yet. I must be there very early like around 7 a.m. because of an exam. Can anyone guess about how much I will pay for it? I'm really not sure whether or not the fee more or less than $100 bucks. I know the best way is calling the taxi, but I don't have enough credit for my cell. :) Thanks

  • Answer:

A taxi will be expensive - probably at least $50 each way. They don't charge a flat rate so it will depend on traffic and how long the trip takes as well as the mileage. I would look into taking public transportation instead if you possibly can. You could buy an Orca pass, take the Sounder train or a bus into Seattle and then transfer to a bus that would take you to the UW for about $5 or less.
