I really want to visit Yahoo in Silicon Valley!!?

  • Dear Yahoo. Hi. my name is SeungYong Yoon. I am student in KNU(Kyungbook National University) in Daegu, Korea. I've been participated in the 'Global Challenger' program which KNU has held , and I got a chance to go abroad . The team which I belong to majors EECS(Electronic Engineering Computer Science). KNU has been changed to the 'IT' university so we are trying to make a new leap forward. So we want to visit some companies which are working as take part in leader of IT company(play an important role of leaders as 'IT'companies in the world) and know current 'IT' trend and culture of Silicon Valley. Especially The Yahoo which is the most powerful company in the IT industry.(I'v used 'i pod' for a long time!) In Korea, there are some global 'IT' companies like Samsung and LG, but the people who don't live in capital city of Kor don't have many chances to attend to global forums or seminars. The thing is, Kor has been much improved in technical skill, but not in working eviroment that help making creative mind. For that reasons, we'd really like to explore Yahoo company to see unique working environment of the Yahoo which secceed as a global company and makes to keep working successfully. And we also want to feel it ourselves how The Yahoo could be a global company comparing environment of the industry in Korea. My team has 2 women and 3 men. Most big companies like Yahoo! offer tours of the company if you call ahead. I'd try doing that. You should email them and tell them your story and give contact information of a teacher or group leader so that they know it's legit and may be willing to give you a more in-depth look at Yahoo!.
