What are some haunted places to go in Philly?

Are there any scary roads or haunted places/roads to go in the bay area?

    There are plenty of places in the Bay Area. Just do a search on "Bay Area Haunted Places". The ones I can think of off the top of my head are the Toys R Us on El Camino in Sunnyvale (Was featured in the TV show "That's Incredible" back in the 80s) and the Rengstorff House in Mountain View. Whether they are really haunted or not is up to the individual.

In searching online for the story of the Niles Canyon Ghost for you, I ran across this site: Haunted Places in California http://www.unsolvedmysteries.com/usm395357.html That is the link to the page that contains the NIles Canyon Ghost (you'll need to scroll down to the Ns). At the bottom are links to the many, many other pages of the site. Just a word about the Winchester Mystery House. I personally have never heard it "marketed" as a haunted house, beyond the scripted words from the docent hinting that "some say" Mrs. Winchester can still be spotted walking there. It's just a fascinating, peculiar structure built by a fascinating, peculiar woman. So, "Mystery" might be a misnomer, but it's still an interesting, singular structure.

One thing dont let Winchester Mystery house trap you like a tourist. Yes it is even on commercials when you driving on Route 66 from Arizona, but it would be a waste of money. One creepy place I like to at night is when you take highway 9 in Saratoga, and keep going uphill till you reach Stop and intersection with HWY 35, than keep going straight on HWY 9 about 1-2 miles, and on a left side you will see a huge parking lot, even a restroom stand there. At night there is no Rangers, so you wont get a parking ticket. Just walk around in a woods overthere, they look way creepier than the ones in Blair Witch
