Do you know any good places to watch fireworks?

Know any great, uncrowded places to watch the fireworks in San Jose, CA area.?

  • trying to look for a nice spot a couple of my friends and me can go chill and watch fire works.. would be nice if i didnt have to go through traffic, get lost, or stand next to idiots.

    Theres always downtown where they have a festival which starts around noon, sit around relax, buy some BBQ, listen to some jazz music. &Later on that night at around 9:30 they start to light fireworks, it's not bad. There's also Great America which is a theme park, you could spend the day there riding roller coasters, playing games, etc. and then watch their fireworks display. There's also the Milpitas Community Center where there's sitting room to see fireworks that night. &On Coleman street they always have a nice fireworks display I hope you have fun!

The Target parking lot on Taylor & Coleman doesn't get too crowded and you can see all the fireworks from downtown. Bring some lawnchairs or sit in the back of a truck. It's not bad. And there is no traffic leaving!

Go to the treasure island. I found that that's the best place to watch fireworks because of its open space, plus you get to see San Francisco nightview in the background. Very very nice.

There should be great views from any of a dozen city parks surrounding the downtown area. Try the park at the corner of Bird and Pine.
