1. It can be 2. They're mixed; You will find lots of friendly/nice people and you'll also find a lot of assholes 3. Yes 4. No, a lot of gang bangers live near there, homeless people 5. They have Music in the park Downtown, Museums, and so on. Can't think of too much at the moment. A real nice place to live near San Jose (which would be a 10-15min drive) would be Los Gatos and Sunnyvale.

1. San Jose doesn't discriminate. Just visit for a day and you'll see what I mean. 2. People in San Jose are like everywhere else. You'll get nice people, and you'll get mean people. 3. It is an amazing school. You gotta see it for yourself. 4. No such thing as "safe" as there's no such thing as an area that's immune to crime. And I'm saying in general, not just San Jose. 5.
