How do you get a job in another state?

    This is a very popular website with housing and jobs classifieds, you may want to look at it and see if you find a match for you... http://sfbay.craigslist.org/ But honestly, most managers want to talk face to face with applicants in jobs. I suggest to look at the website and if u find matchs call them and make appoinments. You should make a trip to San Francisco especially for this. I'm looking to make a move as well (from NY to Miami, FL). I'm beefing up my resume and plan to start sending it out. I'm not sure what you do for a living, but you may have some luck going through some professional organizations (SMPS for marketing, etc.). Or you can simply do what everyone else does - try websites like careerbuilder.com; craigslist.com; monster.com; hotjobs.com; etc. I would first try to find the local paper online and apply through that site (though most newspapers tend to place their ads in any of the sites listed above).
