What type of clothes to bring to Czech?

What type of clothes should i bring with me?

  • am going to emeryville/ east bay on friday the 7th of march till the 10th........am so used to living in florida heat, i have no idea what type of clothing to bring with me. light jacket/hoodies/light sweaters? any suggestions? thank you all

    layers are always good for around here. you won't need a heavy jacket or anything... I'd suggest a few sweaters and a couple of light jackets. I like to wear hoodies a lot and they keep me perfectly warm. As for things to do.... it depends on where you're staying, there is a lot to do around here. Visit Berkeley, it can be an interesting and down to earth place. Go into San Francisco and take a walk down Fisherman's Wharf, visit the Embarcadero, Coit tower, take a drive down Lombard street (The windiest road in the world), go to Golden Gate park and take in the breath taking Golden Gate bridge, etc.... it's really easy to get around here because of all the public transit, so if you dont have a car you can take BART into the city or to Berkeley... or even all the way to Pittsburg if you really want. But there's nothing exciting there.

Well, the best thing to do is to dress in layers. During the day, the temp is in the high 60's, so a t-shirt and pants would do. During the night, it drops to the mid 40's; for a person used to Florida heat, this may be cold, so bring a light jacket. During the morning hours, it is especially important to wear good clothing, because the fog rolls in (EVERY DAY) and the weather will get very chilly. It will quickly warm up, though, by 10:00. The weather is currently quite nice (high 60s, low 40s), but it looks like there's going to be some rain over the weekend. Bring layers and an umbrella.

Bring a warm jacket (and hat) for cold wet temps around 35-40 degrees. For some reason the wind comes off the bay and really zap's you sometimes (even in the summer). As far a things to do, ask Google and Yahoo. They both will fill up your day with all kinds of activity.
