Where is the best place to view the fourth of July fireworks?

Where is the best place to view July 4th fireworks in San Fransisco CA?

  • We like to be as close as pos to the fireworks

  • Answer:

The hold them at Crissy Field near the southern end of the Golden Gate Bridge. If you can get to the Marina, you're in good shape, but it's crowded. One issue that is always a concern, though, is the fog. You might also try Sausalito or Tiburon in Marin County. Great views looking back to The City, but again, fog can be a real problem and traffic over the GG Bridge back to SF is impossible.

if you want to sit, crissy fiel is the best spot. get there majorly early as it fills up fast. 2nd best spot in my opinion is pier 39. again, get there early. also if you don't mind an paid option, take one of the hornblower cruise things or the blue & gold fleet. you get parked out by alcatraz. dress warmly as it gets very cold on 4th of july. normally in the high 40s/low 50s at 9pm.
