    San Francisco is relatively small for a major city. It is broken up into districts. Each district has it's own community feel to it. No matter what your lifestyle or culture is you will find a place that fits you well as the city is quite diverse. The people are pretty friendly, Though some parts of the city have a lot of homeless overall the city is pretty clean and safe. There are so many things to see and do in SF. There are some kind of events going on every weekend. Lots of Museums, Golden Gate Park has some beautiful Gardens, Alcatraz, Cable Cars, Fishermans Wharf, Pier 39, Golden Gate Bridge, Lombard street are all popular with tourists. The city has beaches, a zoo, and 2 aquariums, lots of places to enjoy a good meal. A wonderful Chinatown and a small but cool Japan town too. Union square area downtown has a ton of stores and coffee shops.

san fransisco is really fun you can go to six flags (vallejo, which is near by), and there are TONS of stores there, and piers and cool palces to hang out. there are all kinds of people there, everyones normal

So versatile. There is much to see and you get a little of everything! Union Square, beaches, Golden Gate Park, restaurants, fisherman's wharf, Pier 39, Chinatown, Zoo, Alcatraz... The places i mentioned are very tourist-y! The community is nice. I think you will love SF!

I live just outside and to me it's just like every other boring city... but then again I'm not really much of a city girl. It's got the usual, lots of tall buildings, cool weather, piers, shopping, parks, china town, the zoo, etc.
