What's the weather like in Monterey, CA in February?

  • My family and I are planning a trip for February 2009. Someone mentioned going to Monterey, CA. How is the weather usually in February? I'm thinking that it's not going to be great weather. Thank you for your answers.

I'm unsure as to whether or not you prefer to use the American standard or metric so I'll give you both Average High 61° F = 16.1°C Average Low 45° F = 7.2°C Average Precip. 3.75 in. So no, I don't think it will be great weather, unless you like it cold =)

Its 2 b said that there is more sun in the winter then in the summer on the ca coast. that doesn't mean its not cold. i live 2 blocks from the bay in richmond near sf and im cold all year; but i love it here. luv your name that's my dogs name too- don't b offended hes cute!

Northern California gets a bit cold in winter. Not great weather, but still a very pretty place.
