Where is the best place to view the fourth of July fireworks?

Where is the best place to view the fireworks tonight in San Francisco?

• We're at Fisherman's Warf, close to Pier 39. Where would you suggest? Would we be able to bring chairs? Or would we have to stand and view the fireworks?

  i would suggest the aquatic park area, on the grass or the stone steps. you could bring a chair, but there could be a lot of people. or get up to a higher place, like on a hill or something. russian hill perhaps? or around the nob hill area. it has a really good view, even if you're sitting on the sidewalks.
