Does Turlock lake, in Northern California have a river connected to it?

  • I would like to live on a lake or river in Northern California. Does anyone know have a recommendaton? We are outdoors people who enjoy hunting and fishing and would like a place to raise a family. We would like to live out in the country but have the accessibility of a town.

    Try Redding or the outskirts. You would be not too far from Lake Shasta, the Sacramento River, and really close to Whiskeytown Lake, which is absolutely beautiful. All have great fishing. You are close to hunting areas too. Redding has some culture as well, an you aren't too far fromSacramento, for real "big city" Cost of living there is still reasonable too.
