The people who use the FastTraks on the Bay Bridge, How do they go through? Is there a sticker on their car?

    It looks like a small square drink coaster. Almost like the pagers you get when you're waiting for your party to be called at a restaurant. We would keep ours on the dash board. It is a prepaid, usually on-line, account. How it works: The coaster(transponder) goes in your car. When you pass through the booth an antenna reads your coaster and deducts from your account. There is a video camera and sensor that catches violators, like a red light camera.

There's a little electronic box that most people put near their rearview mirror... when they pass through, it's electronically read and the amount is automatically deducted from their account. Kinda like a debit card, basically.
