What is there to do in San Francisco for 4th of July?

  • Answer:

Fillmore Street Fair Fireworks at Chrissy Field or go to Alta Vista Park or Twin Peaks on a clear night and enjoy firework shows all over the Bay. Warning if it is foggy even close up all you'll see is pretty colored clouds.

I went to San Fransico last year for fourth of July and all I saw were fireworks dissapearing in the clouds, an insane crowd, and it was freezing. during the day was cool though, lots of stuff to see. If you go to pier 39 they have musicians playing, you can go to a giants game, or you can explore some parts of the city. good luck finding parking anywhere close and make sure you booked a hotel in advance. I didn't, and I almost got screwed. oh, and check the streets for ribbons and stuff. the gay pride parade wasn't that long ago and when I was there stuff was still all over the streets
