What to do in Tahoe?

What is the the best way to get from North Lake Tahoe to South Lake Tahoe (besides driving)?

Me and a friend are looking for a way to get from North Lake Tahoe (Truckee specifically) to South Lake Tahoe on December 30th for the Snowglobe Music Festival. I do not have my own car, and I have scoured the internet for public transportation options, but it seems that there are no options that travel round trip from north to south lake. Any advice is much appreciated!
Answer:

you'll either have to rent a car or go on craigslist to look for rideshares. There are no public transportation options to get to South Lake Tahoe in the winter time unless you take the North Lake Tahoe Express shuttle to the Reno Airport and then take the South Tahoe Express from Reno to South Lake.
