Is El Cajon a nice place to live?

I live in el cajon, should i worry about having to evacuate?

    i'm in santee.... as of 2:00am saturday morning ya'll are all right. the lakeside evacs are only at the farthest reaches and are not mandatory. PROBABLY we'll be okay but as i learned from seinfeld "anything's possible" stay tuned and be ready just in case

I have been listening to a San Diego radio station.....you can call 511 for evacuation info and 211 for road closures......there may be a delay but that is the info they are providing to San Diegans.

at this rate, i wuld grab my essentials if i were you. get ur social security card, toiletries, etc important and essential stuff. because the fires are nowhere close to being contained. i live in imperial beach and im not in danger, but not completely safe either. all of san diego is in danger,. my family and i already put aside important things (just in case) always be prepared!!!

Lakeside being next to El Cajon, i would just make sure things were ready. Hopefully they coral the beast before it gets to you...
