Do you know most interesting places in Tenerife?

Does anybody know of any really interesting places to visit in san diego?

  • I go to san diego quite a bit, because I live in southern california. I plan on moving there in a few years probably when I'm done with school. if anybody knows of any good places to stay, visit, eat, etc., I'd appreciate it if you'd let me know what they are!

Spring is a great time to hike to Cedar Falls (it's near Julian). You can swim in the water beneath the 100 foot waterfall. For directions on how to get there and to view a video visit: http://www.sandiego-romantics.com/hike-cedar-falls.html If you haven't gone kayaking through the La Jolla caves, it is something you really should do. It's awesome! There are lots of shops in downtown La Jolla where you can rent a kayak and wet suit....kayaking on your own or joining a tour. There are also wineries where you can go wine tasting. Some are in the Escondido area while others are in Ramona and Julian. There are so many things to do in San Diego....depending on what you like to do!

I always reccommend to everyone who is new to San Diego to take the Old Town Trolley Tour. I know it sounds really touristy but it is a great way to get to know our city. Costs like $20, runs all day, and takes you to like 30 different landmark places in San Diego. Good luck and enjoy our beautiful city.

The gas lamp district is quite cool. I don't know if it's really called that but I remember there being a lot of gas lamps and fun entertainment. Coronado Hotel is really neat as is Coronado Island. Pretty expensive, too. Anyplace down by the water is going to have great atmosphere and Horton Plaza was a hot spot around 20 years ago or whenever it first opened. It's a shopping mall. A lot of malls since then seem to have copied it's unusual design. La Jolla is a beautiful upscale neighborhood where I could never afford to live. Check out Ocean Beach or Pacific Beach for a more common look at ocean dwelling. I'm sure it costs an arm and a leg as well but still it's less expensive than La Jolla or Coronado. I really loved Ocean Beach back in the 80's. Not sure what it's like now. I went to San Diego State. If you go there, stay away from El Cajon Blvd. I took a walk there one night to get some food as my apartment was nearby. Everyone thought I was a hooker! I found out later that that's where the ho's go! Anyway, San Diego's a great city.
