Does anybody know of any spray booth rentals in San Diego, CA?

San Diego State?

  • Am moving from London to San Diego this autumn, to study at San Diego State. I was wondering if anybody could tell me which area I should consider when looking for an apartment, that is not too far from Uni, but not too expensive either. Also which car rental has the best fares, for long term rentals? Do you know any trustworthy sites? For the car and the room/apartment?

  • Answer:

You should look at apartments in La Mesa. Certain parts aren't so nice, but if you look near Lake Murray you can probably find a nice apartment in a pretty nice neighbourhood. Plus it has the added bonus of being close to a trolley station, so you can either walk or take the bus to the trolley station or drive there and park for free and only spend fifteen minutes on the trolley to get to SDSU! Have you tried Craigslist? http://sandiego.craigslist.org/

Something the other answerers failed to mention is that the San Diego Trolley has a stop at SDSU. So that gives you the option of living virtually anywhere along the trolley line and being able to get to school and not worry about parking. You will, however, definitely need a car to get around San Diego otherwise. You should be able to get a reliable used car for under $10k. http://www.sdmts.com/Trolley/Trolley.asp Good luck on your studies.

Not too far nor too expensive? Welcome to San Diego! If you are trying to find an area that is somewhat financially manageable, I'd say go towards the East County like Lemon Grove, La Mesa or El Cajon. I don't know much about long-term rentals, but I always use Thrifty Car Rental and have never had any problems...

I recommend La Mesa, or El cajon...if you dont want to live on campus. I'm an apartment manger in El Cajon, about 15 minutes from campus. As far as a car goes? might be cheaper to buy one than rent one. If you have any questions feel free to e mail me. I try to be helpful, even if you rent somewhere else.

Knowing the parking problem - try to get rooming onsite. Professors don't care that you were looking for a parking spot - late is definitely disruptive....Have a healthy and happy leap year!

Everything will be expensive and not that nice, especially in that area.
