Where would be great areas to photograph in San Diego?

Areas around San Diego? ?

  • I was wanting to move to San Diego for school but it is just way to expensive to live there. So I need to know what is the nicest city just outside of San Diego. I would still be driving to San Diego about everyday so it would have to be close. Any suggestions?

  • Answer:

Usually somewhere in the east county ie; El Cajon, Santee or maybe La Mesa or south county ie; Chula Vista, Imperial Beach or National City has a slightly lower rent than north county or beach cities. Of the cities I mentioned the longest drive to downtown San Diego would be about20-30 minutes.

If you're going to go to SDSU, there are houses called "mini-dorms" next to the campus that rent out to lots of students at once. You may want to look into that. If you're going to UCSD or PLNU, you are going to want to suck it up and live in a dorm, or get ready for a loooooong drive. If you're going to USD, there are inexpensive places to rent in that neighborhood (Linda Vista), esp. if you get a lot of students at once. It's also kind of close to SDSU. Your best bet is to call your school's orientation people and ask them.
