Where would you go for spring break?

I live in San Francisco..but where in California should I go with my family for spring break to explore SOCAL?

  • during winter i stayed in anaheim(went to disneyland) and went to LA a few times. then we drove up the coast and stopped for a few minutes in Malibu and then in Santa Barbara. i loved each place! i'm 15 and i'd be going with just my mom. i don't know what i should do. i love socal and i want to explore it more. okay so i want to -swim -get a tan and i also wanted to visit laguna beach but idk. should we go back to LA? where should we go for spring break? i feel like i just want to explore socal because i might move there. like i wish i could stay in every city there. so where do we go!

    I'm from the Bay Area too, and I would definitely try San Diego, there's TONS to do there, including the two things that you want most!

It might be fun to drive along the coast from San Francisco to LA. You'd probably have a blast renting an ATV or taking a guided hummer ride at the sand dunes in Pismo. It's lots of fun. Pismo is a small beach town that has a popular beach. Santa Monica has a fun downtown area and it's right on the beach. There are lots of shops if you enjoy shopping. Venice would be another fun beach town to explore. If you think you might move there, visit the area where you might possibly live so you know what it's like. When you get of the freeway and begin exploring the neighborhoods, you find that Los Angeles is not that different from other places.
