Does the philadelphia zoo have an aquarium?

Sea World San Diego vs Vancouver Aquarium. San Diego Zoo vs Calgary Zoo. Are they very similar?

• We have been to the Vancouver Aquarium/Calgary Zoo and are wondering if they are very similar to San Diego's offerings, and worth visiting?

  No and No. I've been to the Vancouver Aquarim, it is very nice, but nothing like SeaWorld of San Diego. SeaWorld has a lot of shows: Shamu show where orca whales jump up high or people ride on their backs. dolphin show where dolpins do triple flips in the air and so forth. Yes, ther are some exhibits (fish in tanks) but th emain attraction is the shows and the rides. there's only 4 rides in SeaWorld, but they are splashy and expect to get wet. I've been to the Calgary zoo and it is pretty much your standard zoo. Not bad, but nothing to write home about. The SAn Diego zoo is really a cut above the rest. The main reason being that the zoo is huge so the animals are not slammed one beside another. You have to walk (a lot!) to see the animals. This gives them a lot of room and the organizers groom teh landscape to make it like a habitat rather than animal in cages. Indeed, most of the exhibits at the San Diego zoo are open air exhibits (not the aviaries, those are definitely netted in. Though, peacocks and parrots roam free in the zoo.
