Where should I go camping?

Where to go camping in San Diego?

  • I've never ever been camping but there is always a first time for everything. Where can a first timer like me go camping in San Diego? I'm not looking for anywhere on the beach. I'm more interested in camping inland. Okay thanks for your help!

You should camp at Cuyamaca Rancho SP. We stayed at the Paso Picacho Campground. It's very nice, and Lake Cuyamaca and Julian are less than 15 minutes away or so. They also have camping at Lake Cuyamaca as well and the prices are very good. They have a lot of nice campgrounds and the website tells you if the area is shaded or partially shaded etc. http://www.parks.ca.gov/?page_ID=667 http://www.family-vacation-getaways-at-los-angeles-theme-parks.com/Paso-Picacho-Campground.html
