Would carlsbad, ca be a good place to live?

  • I'm looking for a safe good environment place to live! I live in Tennessee right now but i'm hoping to move to california to pursue acting and modeling but i dont want to move to the city right away cuz i dont have that money right now, that's why i want to move to a nice, clam, safe place to live before i move to the city. any ideas, thoughts? if u live in carlsbad, please let me know what it's like ! good place? any other places that are somewhat what i need if carlsbad sucks???????????????//////

    Carlsbad is pretty far from any acting/modeling jobs. There are plenty of safe places in L.A. that aren't that expensive. Try La Canada-Flintridge, Chatsworth, Granada Hills, West Hills, etc.

Don't do Carlsbad. Try the Valley, in LA. Its actually north of LA but still LA. Like the comment above says: Chatsworth, Canoga Park, West Hills, Northridge are all close to the modeling and acting jobs. And its a nice area. All the celebrities gravitate to that area too. You can meet lots of people in the business there. I don't like Carlsbad. It's a small little town with little to offer. There's nothing there. And for some reason they've had a bunch of murders there this past year or so. But they were like home invasion wierd type situations.

Just Me!

Carlsbad is nice - if you live west of the 5 freeway then Carlsbad is great. but it is Not close to anyplace that is going to have acting / modeling jobs. and, Carlsbad can easily be more expensive than downtown San Diego.
