Any more indoor camping ideas?

I want to go camping somewhere around San Diego this weekend. Looking for real camping. Any ideas?

  • I'm from the boondocks so I'm not looking for campsites where you throw a tent and share the space with 300 tourists and pay hotel rates. Looking for more backwoods camping and hiking. Anyone know of any places in the vicinity?

    This website will guide you & give you info on campsites in San Diego. http://www.sdcounty.ca.gov/parks/online.html. I've been to Lake Morena, you can hike & fish there.

The best places to go this time of year are not in San Diego. The Sierras is the place to go. Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Park, Yosemite, etc.
