Wondering about Questhaven the haunted insane asylum in San Marcos, CA in northern San Diego.?

I love scarey places and i have heard many stories about Questhaven but havent been able to find it. I was wondering if anyone knew where it was. If so please send directions and any stories you might have. Also let me know if you know any other scarey places in San Diego. Thanks!

Sadly, most of Questhaven is longer there due to the fires of 2003. And, it has been taken over by an extensive, upscale community called San Elijo Hills. Questhaven is actually a spiritual retreat community. It was infamous (back in the day), because, the drive in on Elfin Forest Road was nearly impossible to drive through due to dense foliage and crazy looking trees. My friends and I used to drive through there all the time back in the late '80's. We were always cruising and looking for the "White Witch", who was said to be the ghost of a former Questhaven "patient". Geez, that takes me back, thanks for the memories! I heard that the Whaley House is pretty creepy and interesting.
