What's is Thanksgiving day all about?

Whats traffic like, on Thanksgiving Day, from San Diego to Los Angele's?

  • Need to be in Los Angeles by 4pm. Friends suggest to add 2 hours to my travel time. Really??

    I made that drive one Thanksgiving a few years ago. Instead of taking 2.5 hours, it took 5.5 hours. I'd consider leaving at 4 or 5 in the morning to try to beat some of the traffic. Or, plan an alternative route. Like instead of taking the 5, try the 15 to the 210. Depending on where you're going.
