Answer:
YESSS George's at the Cove is AMAZING! I have been there numerous times; the food is delicious and it's a BEAUTIFUL view especially as the sun is setting. You may want to get reservations depending on what night you are going, that place usually fills up quickly but good luck and have fun! P.S. You'll notice that there are tons of cute little shops along where the restaurant is located! You can shop around and then grad a bite to eat at George's, it's perfect!

Hello; La Jolla is a wonderful place ... it has tons of little shops and eating places, it is a little spendy though ... La Jolla is the wealthy part of San Diego. Fortunately San Diego is not that far away (Freeways go everywhere). The San Diego Zoo is one of the finest in the world! There are many fine museums in S.D. The Aerospace Museum was one of my favorites. Kansas City BBQ in Downtown is kind of fun (did you like the Movie "Top Gun?). Enjoy San Diego/La Jolla it really is a wonderful place! I envy you -- Bill

If you enjoy Thai food, be sure to eat at Kitima. It's a wonderful little restaurant with great food located in downtown La Jolla. George's Outdorr Terrace Bistro is also fun...with a wonderful view of La Jolla Cove. The downtown La Jolla area is full of small upscale shops. There's also a mall in La Jolla: University Towne Center (858) 546-8858 4545 La Jolla Village Dr, San Diego, CA You will find that San Diego has lots of other unique shopping areas that you might want to visit. They're not far away. For info go to http://www.sandiego-romantics.com/Shopping-San-Diego.html Enjoy your visit. La Jolla/San Diego is a beautiful place!

I agree w/Kathy H. If it is a nice day Georges at the Cove on the terrace is my favorite.
