Does cingular(At&T) get good service around the San Diego Area??? Also does it get good service in the knoxville, TN area? I just bought the samsung blackjack for cingular-at&t online a couple days ago and I am going t o San Diego(on Pacific beach), CA this summer and I have no clue what kind of reception it will get up there??? Also does it get good reception in knoxville, TN were I live? I'm thinking about trying it out for 30 dys for their test drvie thing but im not sure what kind of fee they will charge me

You should be fine in PB... but the further inland you go, the worse the reception is for Cingular/AT&T as well as T-Mobile.
