Good Preschool in La Jolla?

Is the Inn La Jolla a good place for a woman to stay on her own for a few days?

  • I'm Canadian and meeting Calif. friends down in La Jolla. But first I thought it would be nice to stay at a beautiful place like Inn La Jolla on my own. How would it be for a middle aged woman to get some peace and quiet, meet people casually and write? And also there is the consideration of safety.

You'd be as safe as in your mother arms, but then you'd still be in southern Calif. so how safe is that. California,The land of fruits, nuts and flakes. Sorry, I live in N.E. Ca near the OR. border so I have the right to insult the southern loony toons. You'll be fine, it's a beautiful area and you will have all the quiet time you need.

SoCal is much safer then the media portrays it. Just don't go in to the ghettos. Believe me, you will definitely be able to tell the difference! As for peace and quiet, La Jolla couldn't be a better place.

La Jolla (La-Hoya) is very safe. Often called "The Jewel of San Diego", it is a scenic and quiet beachside enclave. You will enjoy your stay very much....but be warned, it IS going to be pricey.
