I lived here my whole life and need a warm place to move. I already graduated from college. whats it like there? cost of living; weather; things to do, etc. And I definitely need to know what the job market is like. Serious answers only please.

Answer:
I lived in San Diego, born and raised...Its a nice place to live but housing is outrageous unless you have the bucks to buy...The weather is pretty consistant in temp..about 72 most of the time, and summer can get to the mid 90s. but rare...You are close to everything, and every climate. Your 40 min to the snowy mts, and camping, 20 to the beaches, 40 min to the desert...Lots of entertainment, dining, parks, and close to zoo, sea world, and north to l.a. Disnyland, and furthur up Magic Mountain for a day of wild rides on coasters and other rides....Opportunity for jobs are good as there a wide range of them..I think you would like Calif for the weather and things to do..If i had my way I would move to napa Calif, which is the wine country and beautiful... But that is northern calif. I think you will like it there and good luck. I would bet Maryland is beautiful, but expensive to live.

I live in San Diego and the weather is great all the time, we hardly ever get any rain, and if you miss the snow, you can get to Big Bear in a few hours during the winter to snowboard and stuff. There's a lot to do here... party downtown if you're into that, hiking or bike riding, theme parks nearby, camping, etc. The cost of living however, is up there... you can expect rent to be no less than $700 for a 1 bedroom apt. and this probably wouldn't be in a very nice area... an apt. in a decent area is probably around $950, I pay $1400 for a two bedroom apt. 1,100 sq. ft. in a nice area of san diego. The job market depends on your career... I just graduated from college also and I'm looking for a job still... Well, good luck!

You'd have to tell us your profession to know what the job market is like. It's pretty good if you're in biomed or some sort of engineering. There are lots of jobs, but a lot of them don't pay a lot. Housing is VERY expensive, but the weather is nice most of the time.
