What do people do on a two hour cruise?

For the San diego people, which is more fun and why; "the hornblower two hour harbour cruise" or?

  • the "two hour San Diego Harbor Excursion"? im thinkin of takin my husband for his birthday, n plz keep in mind i have a 3 year old and a 7 month old :)

    If the whole family is going I would suggest the Hornblower cruise. If it gets too chilly for you, you can go inside and sit at a booth or table. Plus, if you take the dinner cruise there is also dancing and music. Half the seating of the harbor excursion is outside on the deck and if its crowded you could get the short end of the stick and be stuck outside for two hours. The excursion is nice in the sense that you get a constant narration of what you are passing by and viewing. The Hornblower does not go into the detail that the excursion cruise does. To sum it up...Take the Hornblower because it is more comfortable. As for getting seasick, that would be hard to do because you are in the bay and not at sea. There are no swells to contend with to rock the ship.

They're both kind of the same to me or perhaps they are totally different but I can't remember anymore. But I did want to warn you that once you get onto the boat, you can't get off until it comes to an end. This becomes a problem when any one of the people in your party get seasick. Some people get REALLY seasick and they are green in the face, barfing up the whole time, and are really cold but regardless, you can't get off the boat. I'm just kind of worried for you since you have a 3 year old and a 7 month old. I would recommend that you try a one hour cruise just to see if everyone can hold up before you go for the 2 hour tour.
