Where in San Diego can I find free firewood?

People from San Diego!! Where can I find some very cheap motels in San Diego??

  • Im planing a trip to san diego in june! for about 2 weeks... the cheapest I could find so far was 800 and something total for two weeks! but I need something cheaper! there has to be other cheap motels! I know there are a lot more... but since Im not in SD I cant look for them myself. Because I know the web sites dont show you ALL the hotels/motels! Im looking for one in chula vista! close to Southwestern College! or maybe by south bay! Please,,, people from San Diego...!! Help!! thanks....

    Summertime is very busy in San Diego - lots of people from Phoenix and Las Vegas go there to escape the heat. If you find two whole weeks of lodging in SD for 800something, I'd say you are very lucky and you should hurry and book it before someone else does. (Though I can't imagine such a cheap place is in a very good area.)

It's hard for me to imagine you getting a much better rate than 800 for two weeks but you can try two approaches. One would be priceline.com...put in a bid for 700 for two weeks and see if anyone bites. The other approach would be to go to a hostel. Use your google to put in san diego and hostel and you can check out the options. You might be able to get it as low as 20 a night but you'll have to share your room with others, one of whom will likely snore, so bring earplugs.

Search here for cheap hotels http://www.jetsetgotravels.com It provides search option like near a landmark etc Also it provide searches from more than one source. But beware ... cheap hotels can be trouble some times so check reviews of the hotel your are going to book. Check the exact location of hotel from google maps.

When are you trying to go? Hopefully not during the US Open (The week of June 9-13), because hotels and motels all across the region are booked solid for that week. It will be very hard to find a cheap one.

your not going to find any cheap motels near southwestern college. San Ysidro may have some cheap option, just a few more minutes driving.
