How do I get help to live in America and be an American citizen?

I need help, what can I do to get a chance to live in America? this is serious guys, so pls help...?

  • I really want to live in America, it's been a dream since I was a boy, I'm 19 yrs now, I've looking for a scholarship that provide me to get there, but as far as i know there aren't any scholarship from University in here (Cambodia), that provide us to go to America, they're only provide us to go other country as Japan, Singapore, Australia, i think there's more but I only know 3. Actually I have an uncle who live in Texas, but I don't want to live with him and go there as a worker, beside I don't get along with his sons, I want to go there as a student, educate there (finding part time job perhaps), and become an American rightful citizen (I heard it took three or five years), so I would get a better job in future. So IF you guys KNOW any University in America that could provide me a chance to go there, or any other University that has its sister here in Cambodia, please tell me so I could apply there, or even try to get a scholarship there, any subject would be fine except Math and Physic or any other chances... I'll try. Hopefully you guys could help, thanks so much...

Despite the very rude first answer you will be welcome in the USA if going to school here works out. There are several associations that may be able to help with advice: http://www.cambodianusa.com/ http://www.ocf.berkeley.edu/~cambodia/ http://www.umass.edu/rso/cambodia/index.html http://sites.google.com/site/ucsdcsa/Home http://cambodianstudentsociety.com/ There is also a facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=2256395971 Another option is to check with the universities in the area where your uncle lives and write to them regarding scholarships. Almost every university has an office that takes care of international students and the link will be on their website. Will your uncle let you live with him and attend school? Note that student visas do not allow employment, except > maybe < at a job on-campus. Good luck!
