In Texas, can you work at Sonic if you are 15?

I am 15, i hear about a work pass that would allow me to work, where can i get one, i live san antonio, Texas

  • okay, so i hear about a work pass or permit, and it will allow me to work at some places, i have no clue where to get one. can someone PLEASE tell me or give me any ideas where i could get one at?

    I started working when I was 15 and I got mine from my high school. The front desk at your H.S. should have them and you might have to be approved by your principle to work.

Go to the nearest office of Workforce Solutions - Alamo(Texas Workforce). Ask the Customer Service rep for an "Age of Consent" form. Have one of your parents fill it out and sign it,then mail it to the address on the form . When it arrives,you'll need to submit a photo copy of your permit each time you apply somewhere. While you're waiting for your permit,take your Social Security card and birth certificate to Texas Department of Public Safety to get a "Under 21"state issued ID card.
