  • my husband loves to go fishing.. so for thanksgiving i decided to just take him fishing all day and have a romantic day... so if you know of any very gud locations please list them

    calaveras lake is amazing! i've been going there since i was a little girl. it's 4 bucks for 17 & older, two i think for senior citizens and younger 16 & under. it's like 3 bucks for a boat.

Free I don't know about, but Braunig and Calaveras Lakes, just south of town, are primo fishing lakes. The entry fee is very reasonable, $4.00 per person I believe, and when you pay at one park, the entry is also good for the other park. Happy Thanksgiving!

I suppose I would go to Lake Medina, west of town about 30 miles....there is a public state park there.....or you might want to go up to Kerrville. I'm not sure where the exact public fishing spots are but you can google for additional information.
