Oh my gosh, yes. We have UTSA in 2 locals both downtown and 1604. Also there is Wayland University, Trinity University, St. Mary's University, OLLU, Incarnate Word University and the Alamo Community College District which includes San Antonio College, Northwest Vista, St. Phillip's, Palo Alto, and Northeast College by the Lake. We are a meca of educational possibilities. In addition to all these there are many technical colleges throughout the city. We even have a medical training facility at the UT Health Science Center of San Antonio. Beat that, Austin! If you are looking for a different type of college, try Kerrville in the hill country, San Marcos where my Alma Mater sits or Seguin for some TLC (they changed the college to a university, but I like the name before for the acronym. These are all close to San Antonio and Austin and have wonderful Universities as well. I hope you find the right college or university for your major field of study.
