How hard is it to find a job in San Antonio right now?

    Ehh, sometimes. You just have to think outside the box. I'm currently working for a company within Sam's Club. I'm an Event Specialist. Nothing is really needed, except High school education or currently a student. There is cooking involved. Another thing you must be really patient and friendly. They pay 11.25/hour. Its a good place to work. There should be a link some where on Sam's Club site...

I think they are out there, but we have a lot of lazy people in town who have decided that certain types of manual labor are beneath them and who would rather sit at home and collect unemployment. Kind of a sad commentary on our society if you think about it. I know retail places looking to hire right now in the $7 - $8 an hour range. But they have some "high expectations." Like show up when you are scheduled, for instance.
