  It's hard to say.. Is there anywhere specific you'd like to work? I mean, like what field? Retail, Restaurant, etc.? I know, for sure, that Chik-Fil-A will hire 16 year olds. H-E-B hires them, too. It's tricky trying to find a job when you're 16. I tried to find a job in the mall when I was 17 because they tell you that you can be 16 to work at a certain store. But in reality, two of my friends that worked in two different stores in the mall, told me that they won't hire you in a retail store at the mall unless you have a lot of experience (which is rare). No experience and you're usually still in high school. Most stores don't want to have to deal with your school schedule. It's required by law that they have some kind of requirement saying you can be under 18, but never really hire anyone under 18.
