  We have been on Peak Corps cycling for several years. It's never been a problem. Essentially, you are agreeing that if they need to limit the amount of electricity delivered, they can remotely cycle your A/C. Depending on the level you choose, they will cycle it for up to 30, 40 or 60 minutes per hour. The higher the level you choose, the more you save. They also pay you extra for each day that they cycle. We are on the middle plan, and usually don't even notice the cycling. You can tell if you are being cycled by a light on the box they install at your A/C unit. Because they only cycle for around 1/2 hour, the house still stays fairly cool. If you are sensitive to minor temperature changes, you might notice it. You can always sign up for it and then cancel if you don't like it.
