MIX Downtown (1531 L St.) is probably the closest you can get to a Vegas-style nightclub in Sacramento -- if that's what you're looking for. The vibe is upscale and dressy, the crowd is mixed, and the music is varied enough to keep it interesting. MIX Downtown has amazing happy hours, and they have a cool rooftop patio/lounge area with heat lamps and fire pit.
