Things to do in Southern California during the summer?

What are some things that a 15 year old can do durring summer an Sacramento California?

  • Its pretty boring over here, and since i cant drive, i dont have a lot of money and not many of my friends live around me so thing creative!!

  • Answer:

American River Walk, Old Town Sacramento, Old Town Folsom, American River Canyon North (just to looky loo) and the Arden Mall. If you can find one, go to Chubby's diner and order a strawberry banana shake-- the best in the world. You can also go to Gunther's on 4th and Franklin (homemade ice cream and they have the best banana splits) on your way to the Capitol building on L street :) and the bridge at night crossing the river from sac to west sac is spectacular.

Hang out at the Mall--but don't shoplift.....Walk along the River--but don't drink alcohol....Go to the park but don't take candy from stranges...Explore Old Sac---but not at night....Ride a bike--but be careful of traffic....Go to McDonalds and eat a McFlurry. Have a fun summer.

Not much... There is the water park, the malls, rivers, state fair, downtown... There is always something going on in some coffee shop or art gallery downtown...

i lived at the Roseville Gallerya when i lived in Sac. Go down to old sac, so to the movies. If you can get someone to drive and somefriends, drive up to Six Flags Marine World, its only like and hour drive, and its really fun.

Well when I was 15 years old, Waterworld was cool....you should learn how to fish, if you don't know how already. Fishing is by far the cheapest and most rewarding hobby to fill the day's length my dear. Lots of promising catches going on right now, and sometimes the best day fishing is a day when you catch nothing...Good suntan and swimming time too. If you are that bored, take summer school classes so you can graduate early and move on with your life....

If you don't mind getting a little wet and getting paid for it. During the summers back home, when I was about your age, I would get a part-time doing car washes around my neighborhood with my friends. I don't know how much money you can ask for now (we asked for 6 - 10 dollars per car, split between 2 of us, usually the neighbors will negotiate) but I'm sure you can figure how much you want to get paid. Must be reasonable. But make sure to get your parents permission, always let them know where you are, never go into the person's house (bring your own supplies,) wear proper clothing (nothing too skimpy or see through) and also please make sure to do this with a friend. Hope this is an okay idea, stay safe and have a nice summer!

Try the new water park at Cal Expo, it just opened as Raging Waters. I enjoy rollerblading around the Capital and bringing a bag of peanuts to feed all the crazy squirrels.
