Given the huge amount of legal and liability barriers that prevent companies employing teenagers, your best best is to employ yourself, by going into some sort of business and offering a service. Babysitting and yard work are examples of local self employment that teenagers do. If you have some skill or talent that people will pay for and doesn't do you harm, then do that. Advertise locally, get customers and go do it. You are free to trade. Buying stuff low and selling it high. Adding value to it before selling it on. I don't know your circumstances, so I can't provide specifics. When I was your age, I did a disk duplication service, back when people needed floppy disks duplicating. To make extra money, I sourced the blank disks in bulk for less than I was charging the customer, so I was pulling in some extra money on each disk duplicated. But conventional employers aren't likely to employ you, there is too much liability. I live in Beaverton, and if you haven't noticed, the job market isn't too hot right now, so you might find that there's lots of competition from otherwise unemployed adults, so it's not a great time.
