How To Read Palm?

I hate portland Oregon, any jobs or something in Palm Desert? Read PLEASE HELP ME!?

• I used to live here in Oregon for about 2 years then I moved to soCal, California is amazing, Palm Desert to be more specific, now about 2 months ago we moved back to portland and I HATE it, it changed so much, people are poor, I get followed to the bathroom in the park, this place is full of hobos, teenagers my age are rude, they are so cold, all they do if they think something is wrong they try to fight with you, the way they speak is so different, they are "ghetto" this city is FULL of ghetto people, I hate it, I wish i would move back, but im trying to convince my parents they say they dont have any jobs in Palm Desert. What should I do, I don't even go to school here, I'm doing ONLINE school which is sooooo boring i have no social life whatsoever, i miss my friends from palm desert, I really do hate it here, i'd move back in a heartbeat, I was so happy there and all of the sudden we move here, so what should I do to convince my parents, i've tried everything, but its just not fair, i've moved 8 times in my life and im 16, I am so sad here because this place sucksss so bad. somebody helpp me, i need facts, how is Palm desert better than porltand?

Palm Desert is a small resort city and it makes sense that it has appeal for living. Formerly a "snowbird" destination, more and more people live there year round and the city has quadrupled in size since 1980. Some portions of the Portland area have similar feel—like Lake Oswego and east Hillsboro. I suspect you are living in one of Portland's worst neighborhoods—like Lents or Sunderland. Maybe you can move to a better one? It would also help to make some friends. Maybe you can join some kind of club, like sports, hobby-related, or academics. Friends will know many things about making life more tolerable—even in your present situation. Seek some out and spend time with them.
