Where are some good bars around LAX?

Im a big drinker i'll be in phoenix 1 night on march 29 where are all the good bars in or around phoenix?

  • i prefer bars or pool halls over clubs 27 years old that can handle all types of music except country-no country bars-is there an area that can you can go bar hoppin cause i would like to book a hotel in that area so no drivin would be involved

    Tempe is good as it is a college town, but the really hoppin crowds are in South Scottsdale (also called old town) There they have a number of clubs in a very close proximity to each other and hotels are reasonably priced and should be easy to find. This would eliminate the driving. Tempe is nice too, but it is a younger crowd and in my experience there are MANY more cops wandering around there than in Scottsdale. There are also less hotels than old town area.

Mill Avenue in Tempe is close to the university and where most of the college students go to drink.....there is a bar there, Cue Club, its one of my favorites and they have tons of pool tables...make sure you try the long island drink its their specialty.....you could also try old town scottsdale....there are a ton of bars and clubs....I dont care for it as much bc its mostly a bunch of people trying to show off their money

there is no such place as a bar that caters to "over age 27". they are over "21" bars.
