What is Prescott, AZ like? Is it a good place to live? Is there anything to do?
-
Also does it snow there? And what is the area called Prescott Lakes like? And another question, whats the difference between Prescott and Prescott Valley?

Answer:
Prescott is a nice area; I've been here over 20 years. The people are alright, much more friendly than in Phoenix area. There is a bunch to do in the quad-city area. Prescott Valley is a booming place & tons to do. Prescott is nice too, but seemingly geared to the older adult crowd. Prescott Lakes is super nice & more of an up-scale living community. I don't go there much since I can't afford a home there. It sure does look nice when I drive by. There is about 10 mile between the coty of Prescott & town of Prescott Valley. Like I said before, Prescott is more of the older adult with a bit of money. Prescott Valley is more of the working class adults & younger people. Chino is VERY affordable- if yu know what I mean. That is more for the people who can't afford Prescott Valley. All the towns in the area & nice & there is plenty to do. Restaurants: Murphy's - great upper class place Gurley Street Grill- yummy food & not as costly as Murphy's Shannon's gourmet Cheesecakes'- very well priced delicious food Geneveve's - AMAZING Italian food at a little bit high price but well worth it Harkins Theater many parks & lakes Sharlette Hall museum - history town square- big trees & park benches in the grass shopping at the square- many great places Gateway mall *Hope this helps*

Prescott, geared to the old people like me, is excellent for tourists and eating. The valley is however much more affordable and as for things to do, if your the outdoors type, it is one of the greatest places around. Hiking , biking, mining, gold panning , 4-wheeling and horsies . Lots of camping areas , small streams and exploring the old ghost towns. Been all over the area and really like it. Large V.A. hospital, if you should be a vet. Casino up on the hill (indian) of course. Nice place, and not nearly as hot as phoenix. You will like it if you like small town people. If you need big cities , don't move there. Oh yeah, it is what city folks would call a cowboy town for sure
