haha I moved from Ct to. I lived in South Windsor! I moved to AZ right after I visited it too. There's really nothing wrong here. It's so much nicer than ct, like newer looking, and everyone is from everywhere else, so there isn't any AZ driving Stereo types, its a big mix. In Lake havasu, keep in mind its only that one town, and that's it, so you will be confined too that one place, unlike in Ct, you can go from one town to another, and over and over. Here in PHX, you can go from town to town, that's bigger than Ct its self, so many more stores all over. and like 2 out of 10 people see snakes or anything weird a year. Good luck, email with other specific questions. Let me add, you can find houses of all sizes for cheap as sh*t!! and idk if you do, but if you like trucks, quads dirt bikes, youd be in heaven.

I would recommend it because Arizona is simply beautiful. My friend used to live in Connecticut but he moved here a while ago. He says that he misses the snow most of all. However, depending on the area of Arizona you move to, it could possibly snow, and you can always go up to the mountains. Arizona is great. The climate is hot, but it does rain a lot during the monsoon. There can be some bugs and spiders, and scorpions, but still, it's worth it to come here.

I would highly suggest moving here. The whole state is really coming along. But don't move here for another month or 2...you'll change your mind and go back. lol

Bad idea. About the only ones I see coming from the New England area and CA come to try and make AZ like the state they left. Way to many are here already!

Always remember, "You don't have to shovel heat." With that being said, I came from NY and also worked in Hartford for awhile. Anywhere in the Southwest is better than New England. Little things make the difference. For example, washing your car in January. We both know you really can't do that in the winter in NE. Wearing shorts in December is not frequently done in CT. Your car will last longer because we don't salt the roads. With the exception of running the AC in the summer, your power bills will be very low. This year I ran my heater for a whole 15 hours over the entire winter period. I live just outside Phoenix and would not want to move to Havasu. Reason being is there is not a lot to do there unless you thrive on spring break events, but they only last so long and then it's back to virtually nothing again.

Arizona is great. May I suggest checking out some gated communities in Arizona before settling on Lake Havasu. There are some great areas in Scottsdale, for example Sereno Canyon. They offer property near the McDowell Mountains where you'll have privacy but still be close enough to fun activities like Lake Havasu and Old Town Scottsdale. Good luck in your decision!

We moved hear from upstate NY 9 yrs ago, near Syracuse. We don't miss nothing from back there, maybe the lakes and the forests and green. but the winters..... no way. Not sure if I'd recomend Lake Havasu city though, its a cool little place, but hotter than hell in summer. not much around there, so, yes it would get old fast. We ended up in central AZ, Prescott area, ck it out, its centrally located and nice weather, visit phoenix in winter and flagstaff in summer, bot an hour away

theres many people from new england living in arizona. No theres not alot of snakes, centipedes , people say those things because they don't want more people moving to arizona. I rarely see any of those things. Phoenix is a great place to live if you don't like rain it can go over 6 months and not a drop of rain.

You should move to Arizona. I was born here and still live here. Its filled with beauty and everything is just wonderful. The high mountains but there are some animals you need to look out for.Like Rattlesnakes,Coyotes,Wolfs,Diamond back snakes. And more animals but you should move out here.Who knows we might bump in to each other one day.

don't do it!!!! i used to live in MA ( the spirit of america) but then five years ago my parents moved here, to dreadful tucson AZ. i hate it, snow live 3 days a year, it only rains during the monsoon, no pine trees here. If you do move her i suggest up north like mesa or flagstaff
