Where is the cheapest hotel in philadelphia?

Philadelphia Hotel and Public Parking?

• I am coming to Philadelphia during Columbus Day weekend and based on the hotel prices, will either need to stay at a hotel by the airport or nearby such as in Mt. Laurel, NJ (where I have stayed before) 1) How are the hotels by the airport (Marriott, Hyatt, etc.)? Are they noisy due to plane traffic? Would it be better to stay by airport (closer to city and activities in general, but possibly noisier) or just to stay in Mt. Laurel (quieter, but longer drive to Philly and will have to pay tolls over bridge daily)? 2) We plan to come into the city to go around, etc. Where can we park the car centrally all day for not too much money? (Public Parking Lot?) Preferably 24 hour lot or lot that stays open late. We plan on being out and about all day/night and need to consider getting back to car again at night and drive back to hotel.

  the marriott by the airport is actually soundproof. you can't hear the planes when you are inside the hotel. it is very clean and the food is great. The staff are also very freindly. there is a public parking lot on delaware ave. it's at the foot of south street. there is also a parking lot by the seaport musueum, also on delaware ave. parking in the dave and busters lot is free if you go before 3pm.
