Good High Schools in Philadelphia?

Do anyone know of any good high schools in NorthEast Philadelphia?

  • Answer:

Northeast High is a really good school. Washington High isn't bad and has a good variety of classes, but that's far northeast and there are sometimes behavioral problems. Both schools are huge, btw, lol. And I gotta advertise Central (www.centralhigh.net). It's not in the Northeast, but it's in Olney and really easy to get to from the northeast (one bus or a short car ride and you're there!). It's the best public high school in Philly and one of the best in the state. Hope that helped! :) P.S. - If you have any other questions about Philly or Philly school, you can e-mail me at [email protected]. :)

Most of the high schools in the NE aren't that good, public and catholic. Swenson is not too bad if you want to go to a trade school. There are some charter schools, but they haven't been around too long. If you're looking for a good high school I would get out of NE Philly.

some of the best schools in northeast philly are the private ones. look into arch bishop Ryan, or Father Judge. Yes they are catholic schools, but they are some of the best in the area
