What are some interesting things you can do in Philadelphia?

1.eat philly cheesesteak passyunk ave,south philly 2. see liberty bell 3.go to nice stores like daffys,loehmans...... 4.eat at Capital Grill on broad and Chestnut, eat brassiere pierre on chestnut,pod in university city 5.once you do all these you will find more places to go to.

My family (me, my husband and our two sons ages 13 & 10)visited Philly this summer. Most interesting was our visit to Eastern State Penitentiary, where we toured the prison then had a question & answer session w/a former inmate! For views go to Penns Landing. Old city is VERY interesting and diverse to say the least. Lots of history in Philly if you like that. There is also the Franklin Institute, Betsy Ross House, Liberty Bell, etc. They also offer evening walking tours such as the Lights of Liberty tour, ghost tours and others. We liked this trip much better than the year before when we went to D.C.!!
