Does anyone live in Coatesville, PA that moved from Philadelphia, PA?

Could you tell me where you like it better and how the people are different? I moved from Philadelphia to Coatesville and I like Philadelphia a lot better. I lived there for 14 years (my whole life) and I don't feel like I fit in. I feel a huge difference between the people in Phila. and the people in Coatesville. I'm in high school and the kids here are like those stereotypical teens you see on TV. I guess thats what included in the suburb package. It's very different from Philly. Just wanted to know how you felt about moving from Philly and into Coatesville and feeling the difference between its people. I am very proud of being from Phila. and everyone I know knows where I'm from.

Answer:
I moved from Philly to West Chester, PA. It is in the same county as Coatesville. My mom had once thought to move us there but luckily she didn't but moved us to West chester instead. It is a lot different from Philly. When I was in Philly, there were many people of all races and cultures but when I came out here, I'm like, am I blind? LOL but this IS the suburbs after all. But the people are quite nice over here. They thought it was cool that I lived in Philly. I guess when you're stuck in the suburbs for your whole life, getting to know someone who lives in the city for most of their life, it's really different. But West Chester and Philly is only an hour drive away. And West chester to Coatesville is only 15-20 minutes. Hey, you wanna go to the mall? Nah I'm just kidding. You'll get used to it.
